The area in and around Barend and Sandyhills is great for group or family holidays. There’s a Swimming Pool on site, a family friendly bar and restaurant and the beach is only about 10 minutes walk.
Serenity can sleep 8, and has a shower room and a bathroom, so it’s great for large families or if you’re looking for somewhere to stay with friends, in-laws or grandparents/grandchildren.
If you want to arrange a holiday for a larger group of more than 8 people, or you just prefer separate accommodation for friends or families, you can also book other lodges on the site.

Self catering group bookings are popular at Barend Holiday Lodges. There’s parking for two vehicles right outside the lodge and extra parking about 4 mins walk away.
It’s also a great place to enjoy time together even if you have separate lodges. It only takes a few minutes to walk from one end of the site to the other. So, even if you don’t book lodges next to each other, you’ll still be close by.
Sandyhills bay has a large sandy beach about 15 minutes stroll away. The surrounding area has beautiful countryside and the quiet roads and tracks are great for a cycling or walking holiday. You can also enjoy a free round of golf nearby.
Reserve a large table at the on-site restaurant for a meal together without the preparation and clearing up!
