Serenity (22 Barend) is a Scandinavian log cabin in the quiet countryside of Sandyhills, Scotland. With views over the loch, we are a 10-minute walk from Sandyhills beach. Whether you want to explore the Solway Coast or just to relax, our guests enjoy perks like a free round of golf nearby, and exclusive access to the Barend swimming pool and private sauna just a 4 minute stroll from the front door.
The Solway Firth, is warmed by the Gulf Stream, making the water and Solway climate surprisingly mild for the Scottish coast! The peaceful surroundings are a haven for wildlife. You can enjoy an active or chilled holiday here, with everything you need for a short break or longer stay. There's lots to see and do nearby and delightful places to relax.

- Family room: 4 single beds (a fully enclosed private bedroom upstairs, unlike the open plan style in many similar lodges)

- Coffee MachineHas a replaceable drawer attachment for Nespresso and Dolce Gusto pods or ground coffee. Just swap for the one that suits the pods you bring. There are coffee cups and also laminated instructions next to the machine ☕️

Serenity is a Silver property (0.16 points away from Gold 😀).
- Less wear and tear or higher quality products on average
Silver properties have a little more attention and some stand out features (such as recently-renovated rooms).
Grading takes into consideration upkeep of the property, guest convenience, quality of fixtures and fittings (and subsequent wear and tear) and this grade offers excellent price vs quality.
