View across the gardens and loch from the balcony of Serenity 22 Barend holiday lodge near Sandyhills in Dumfries & Galloway

Serenity (22 Barend) is a Scandinavian log cabin in the quiet countryside of Sandyhills, Scotland. With views over the loch, we're a 10-min walk from Sandyhills beach. Whether you want to explore the Solway Coast or just to relax, our guests enjoy exclusive access to the Barend swimming pool and private sauna just a 4 minute stroll from the front door, and a free round of golf nearby.

The Solway Firth, is warmed by the Gulf Stream, making this corner of the Scottish coast surprisingly mild year-round! It’s a natural haven for wildlife - keep an eye out for red squirrels and rare birds. It's a peaceful setting whether you're here to explore the coast or simply want a quiet place to recharge.
