The rental price includes all services; gas, electricity and water.
If there is a sharp rise in the cost of energy, Barend Holiday Lodges may apply a weekly/pro rata fair use cap. If so, they will let you know.
There isn’t an energy price cap on electric and gas for businesses, so we’re requesting that guests please be aware of their energy use.
Any cap will allow you to be comfortable in the lodge without having to worry about the cost. However, please don’t waste energy (or water), both for cost and environmental reasons.
Electric Vehicles
In July 2024 Barend Holiday Lodges installed 2 fast EV Chargers, working with EvieLife. They are available for everyone to use. If you book directly with Barend Holiday Lodges through this site there may be a discount available, ask at Reception for your code.
Please don’t charge your vehicle directly at the lodge; this poses a health and safety risk (in terms of trailing cables and the electricity supply at the properties).
