Dalbeattie Garden Centre is reasonably priced and has a good selection of plants. The shop is surprisingly big and has necessary gardening items as well as toys and gifts.

The Olive Tree Tearoom & Gift Shop is part of the site and can be accessed without going through the garden centre. It’s a fairly simple café serving sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes and also a selection of cakes. The staff were friendly and the portions were generous. The Afternoon Tea for two was good value and very tasty.
